Renovations spread to the garden

I want to start my renovations in the bathroom and work my way out of the hallway and into the kitchen and then the rest of the house. I’ll then move to the backyard and finally finish my garden landscaping. Essendon homeowners have been getting lots of renovations lately and my place will be no exception. I don’t even want to try and count the number of hours I’ve spent planting fruit trees and herbs in my yard. I’m sure come spring when I’m eating fresh pears and apples from my garden it’ll all be worth it. Either way, I am so excited about all of these changes, I’ve been meaning to spruce the place up for some time. I am the most excitable person that anyone has ever met, when I get hyped up about a project I don’t shut up. I get really jazzed about anything and everything.

I am the first person to admit that I can be impulsive. I can be very serious if the situation demands it and take my time to think things through, but mostly I react.  I did spend a fair amount of time planning the garden though. There was nothing impulsive about my selection of flowers for the planter boxes. My ex wife always loved spending time outside, it was something that we bonded over. We would spend hours together planting new bulbs and turning over the soil. We didn’t talk much, we just enjoyed spending the time together knee deep in dirt and plants.

My ex-wife didn’t take the separation well, that’s part of the reason why I need to plant a new garden. The previous one she ran over with the lawnmower the day after she moved out.  I loved her with all of my heart, but that love faded away. I’ve been talking to some landscapers about making a change and adding some paving. Melbourne North residents are all so friendly but also professional at the same time. It’s time for me to move on with my life, it’s time I tear down the old me and start again. I hope that one day I’ll meet someone new I can share my life with, but I’m happy to wait for the right person.
